Symbolism is a universal language and the meaning of a symbol can be easily understood by anyone the world over. So if you were an intelligence, that wanted to get a message across worldwide, isn't a symbol that contains universal geometry and number the finest way to do so - and wouldn't making them 150 - 300 feet across, be a sure-fire way of grabbing your attention?

The simple circle is the creator symbol. Here is the creator who offers life without end, eternal, and there's no better way to represent that than with a circle that is a continuous line without end. The circle is a symbol of unity. Within crop formations, we are in fact witnessing a continuing embellishment of cosmic unity. The Circlemakers are talking to us, and much has been interpreted throughout the past decade or so.

Crop formations are attention seekers and they seek a response that's held deep within our pysche. Ancient symbols have energy, and we are seeing them returning to our fields in order to re-establish these missing energies. They serve to gently increase vibrations and help to raise human consciousness.

Crop circles have appeared in over 40 countries worldwide. The British Isles receives an average of 150 formations per year. At least half this amount is found in Wiltshire, and in particular close to the Silbury-Avebury environs, which is regarded as one of our most ancient and sacred areas. Where formations are placed, either here or abroad, they'll usually be found close to ancient sites. They seem to link with our past in a multitude of ways.

For those of you who have never visited a formation, it must be easy for you to imagine that you will be confronted with a mess of crushed stalks inside but nothing could be further from the truth! The stalks are gently laid over, they're certainly not broken or squashed down, and the crop continues to grow. The crop is only damaged or broken by human tramplers visiting the circles. The Circlemakers are capable of creating many beautiful floor patterns. The finesse, with which some are executed, is astonishing. Some of the floors display weaving patterns and some of them are even plaited. Some of them are so interwoven that in order for you to unravel them, you would literally snap the stems. So how did the Circlemakers create these intricacies in the first place, without breakage?

It can be shown, by laboratory analysis, that whatever's involved in creating crop circles, alters vegetation at cellular level, and even the composition of the soil within formations undergoes change.

Sometimes when you enter a formation, you become aware of a sense of sacredness. This is not an accidental or coincidental effect. The Circlemakers have a precise and profound knowledge of universal harmonics. Along with proportional laws, they have a precise knowledge of how to employ them in order to create sacredness - walk into Chartres cathedral and sense exactly the same!

It's a very common misconception that crop circles are only a recent phenomenon. The fact is it's been happening for hundreds of years and there's quite a bit of evidence around to support that. More recently though, since the summer of 1989, they've shifted up by so many gears they're in hyper-drive! The sheer size and complexity of them is now simply mind-blowing! It would now seem that unlike simple shaped ones, they are meant to be viewed from above, for they're now being presented to us at a moment in time when air access has never been easier. Some formations during season 2000 clearly displayed some amazing 3-dimensional qualities. This is one aspect that can only become apparent when viewed from above. With this quantum leap into dimensional effects, are the Circlemakers nudging us towards an awareness of other dimensions ... other realities?

What is certainly not realised, especially by newcomers to crop circles, is their interactiveness. Many find this difficult to take onboard at first, but let me assure you that this aspect of the phenomenon is a positive reality ...you can actually tune into them. The Medway Crop Circle has had some amazing success in influencing the formations that have landed in Kent during season 2000, through meditation. Kent receives at least a half dozen or so circles per year. What's lacked in quantity, though, is certainly gained in quality, for we're often blessed with formations that many consider 'State of the Art'. The diagram and photos here feature 'The Star of Istead'. This was a beautiful formation that was discovered in wheat during the early hours of July 29th 2000, at Istead Rise, near Gravesend, Kent.

The media can't handle this subject. At the end of an hour long documentary, they simply have to come up with an answer, and guys vandalising crop with 'stomper boards' is such an easy option. There's no evidence that exists to support this tired old story though - none whatsoever! Whereas the evidence that suggests they're not man-made is absolutely overwhelming. To give further examples, crop formations have revealed new mathematics mankind was blissfully unaware of, and amazingly some recent formations have yielded astronomical information, which refers to future dates, and times. How can all this be put down to stomping boards? With heavy fines in place, for anyone caught damaging crop, and with fields regularly patrolled and watched, how come in ten years, no one has ever been caught?
