The light from a thousand stars
is shining down on you
The warmth from a thousand smiles
is washing over you
The beat from a thousand hearts
Is singing now with you
And the strength from a thousand souls
is sending love to you

Sometimes all you have is yourself
And perhaps the smallest grain of faith
Otherwise you would not exist
Somewhere, sometimes hidden
There is the faint glow from the candle of hope
Otherwise you would not exist
Somehow, somewhere, sometimes
Someone else believes in you
Find them before you cease to exist

Wish you were here
I am told the weather is fine
But there are dark clouds on the horizon
The accomodation is fragile
As people are always fighting for land
The food is fast, but understanding is slow
Sometimes I look up at the stars
And think of you
Oh God! How I wish you were here
