Spring is here, the earth awakes

from winters ice and snow.

The soil warms up beneath the sun,

new life begins to grow.

The tender little snowdrop,

always the first to show

Points bravely through the last cold winds

the way for all to go,

And soon the clarion call of life

is felt throughout the land

As springs new challenge to nature

is seen at every hand.

How we always greet with joy

this beat of nature’s heart,

That signals life’s return from sleep,

New Year, new life, new start.
