When we were young and at play
We used to hear our Mother say
"The man in the moon is looking at you,
He can see what you're up to"

We used to draw the man in the moon
With eyes, nose, a mouth and a grin
Sometimes we made him very grim

Until one night the moon shone bright
I looked and see the full moon that night.
He seemed to look straight down at me
It seemed so clear that I could see
The eyes, nose and mouth with a grin

The morale of this poem is
To have faith in yourself,
In what you see,
You will be guided into what you be.
