Over the centuries psychics have been known by many different names: mystics, mediums, witches, witch doctors, prophets, visionaries, clairvoyants, gypsies and fortune tellers, to list but a few. In fact probably the most famous historical figure of all, Jesus Christ, displayed what could be seen as strong psychic traits in his ability to heal the sick and predict future events. All through the ages these people have been persecuted, often by authorities wanting to shift the focus of peoples discontent, but ironically enough the psychic was, and still is, used in the capacity of consultant or advisor by almost every significant figure in power! There are many different tools (tools are objects used to improve the connection between the reader and the spirit realm) that can be employed by the Psychic, and most Psychics will have the ability to use any of these, however normally they will be drawn to one in particular. The following gives an example of the kind of methods that can be used:
Psychics can also work without tools, for example in one to one situations (where the Psychic receives information from Spirit Guides and passes it on) this could be in many forms clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience. There is also aura reading, a similar principle to the photography but with a hand drawn picture. © S.L.Barnett, 2000 |
